Economics gives you a rigorous way to think about scarcity, choice and price. You start with the core models — demand, supply, elasticity, production and costs — and apply them to real Rwandan and global markets.
This subject is practical: you learn to spot an opportunity, test it against a real market, organise a business legally, and keep records that tell you the truth about it. Everything is anchored in how enterprise actually works in Rwanda.
You work as a historian: questioning sources, weighing causes, and arguing from evidence rather than opinion. The year runs from pre-colonial Africa and the Rwandan state, through the slave trade, to colonisation and African responses.
