# Ganzaa

> Ganzaa (ganzaa.org) is a free e-learning platform for primary and secondary school students from Primary 1 to Senior 6. It has 144 subjects with 1199 units and 5100 lessons that follow the Competence-Based Curriculum (CBC), national exam past papers for P6, S3 and S6, learning games, and an in-browser coding playground. Every lesson can be read for free, without an account.

## Key facts

- Audience: students from Primary 1 to Senior 6 (ages about 6 to 18), their teachers and their parents, and schools.
- Curriculum: lessons are written to follow Rwanda's Competence-Based Curriculum (CBC), class by class and subject by subject. Ganzaa is an independent platform, not an official REB or NESA product.
- Cost: lessons, past papers, games, the classroom tools and the coding playground are free to use. A free account saves progress, earns stars, opens each unit's quiz, and lets anyone host a live quiz game.
- Lessons: explanations and worked examples, with practice questions that are marked instantly. They work on a phone, tablet or computer.
- Past papers: the official NESA national exam papers for P6, S3 and S6, catalogued by year and subject and linked to nesa.gov.rw.
- Practice exams: 29 full practice exams for P6, S3 and S6 (P6: English, Kinyarwanda, Mathematics, Science & Elementary Technology, Social & Religious Studies; S3: Biology, Chemistry, English, Entrepreneurship, Geography, History, Kinyarwanda, Mathematics, Physics; S6: Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Economics, English, Entrepreneurship, French, General Studies, Geography, History, Kinyarwanda, Kiswahili, Literature, Mathematics, Physics) in the NESA national exam format — the same sections, question types, marks and timing as the real paper, but original questions written by Ganzaa, not the official papers. Every subject has 10 versions of each question, so each attempt is a new paper. Answers are marked when the student submits, with the correct answer and an explanation for every question; written answers are marked against a marking guide. The first practice exam is free; later ones cost a small fee or come with a Ganzaa Pro or Premium plan.
