Sudoku is a logic puzzle on a 9×9 grid divided into nine 3×3 boxes. Fill every empty cell with a digit from 1 to 9 so that each row, each column and each box holds all nine digits exactly once. There is no arithmetic, only reasoning.
The Medium level starts with 34 of the 81 cells filled. Fewer clues mean you often have to look at a cell's row, column and box together, rule out the digits that are already there, and keep track of what is left.
The par time is 8 minutes, and the level scores 1.5 times the points of Beginner. Your score starts at 1,000 points times the level's multiplier, gains half a point for every second you finish under par and loses a point for every second over. Each mistake costs 50 points and each hint 75. Solve it with no mistakes and no hints for three stars.
