The Ten Commandments of God

How God gave the Ten Commandments to Moses (Musa) at Mount Sinai, as told in the Bible and the Qur'an; the two categories of the commandments and how churches number them; why God gave them and why they matter to believers and society; the other laws of Moses; and the role of laws, rules and regulations in Rwanda, with Christian and Islamic teaching side by side.

Lessons

Religious Teachings and Values

What religious teachings are and where they come from (scripture, the example of Jesus and of the Prophet, religious leaders and tradition), and the core values that Christianity and Islam share: love, honesty and truthfulness, forgiveness and reconciliation, peace and justice, human dignity and humility. Shows how these values build a united, trusting Rwanda.

Lessons

Human Rights and Peace in the Society

What human rights are, their features and types, and where they are written down (the UDHR, the Convention on the Rights of the Child, the Constitution of Rwanda). How the Bible and the Qur'an support human rights, the consequences of violating them (including the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi), ways to promote them, and how peace and human rights depend on each other.

Lessons

The Purpose of Creation in Christian and Islamic Views

What creation means; the creation accounts of the Bible (Genesis 1–2) and the Qur'an, compared with respect; why God created human beings according to each faith (to worship him, reflect his image, and care for the earth as stewards and viceroys); and why living according to that purpose matters for the individual, for Rwanda and for the environment.
