12 min
On Saturday, Keza walks in town with Maman.
They see many places. Keza wants to know all their names in French.
Which places do you know?
| French | English | Kinyarwanda |
|---|---|---|
| l’école | the school | ishuri |
| la maison | the house, home | inzu, mu rugo |

| l’hôpital | the hospital | ibitaro |
| le stade | the stadium | sitade |
| l’église | the church | kiliziya, urusengero |
| la mosquée | the mosque | umusigiti |
Point and say: C’est le marché. (It is the market.)
Keza : « Maman, c’est l’école ? »
Maman : « Non, Keza. C’est l’hôpital. »
Keza : « Et là ? C’est le marché ? »
Maman : « Oui ! C’est le marché. »
Là means there. Oui means yes and non means no.
