Everything parents, teachers and schools usually ask about Ganzaa — answered. Step-by-step guides with pictures are in the Help center.
Ganzaa is a learning platform built for primary and high school students. In one place you get interactive practice aligned to your curriculum, a shared school library of storybooks and PDFs, daily AI-recommended activities, and private messaging so parents and teachers can talk directly. It runs in the browser on any phone, tablet or computer, and is built to turn homework and revision into something students actually enjoy.
Click "Sign up" on the home page, pick whether you're a student, parent or teacher, and verify your email. If your school is already on Ganzaa, your administrator will send you an invite link that pre-fills your class and grade. Otherwise you'll land on the free student plan and can try every practice and the library right away.
No. Ganzaa is a Progressive Web App — you open it in any modern browser (Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox) on phone, tablet or laptop. If you tap "Add to Home Screen" it opens like a native app, straight from your home screen.
Students practise math, science, English, reading, social studies and more through gamified exercises. They can read interactive storybooks and PDFs from the library, chat directly with their teachers when they get stuck, and complete a daily AI-recommended activity tuned to their grade. Stars, streaks and rewards keep them coming back.
Not yet. Ganzaa needs an internet connection to load lessons and practices and to send messages. Some pages you opened recently may still load without a connection, but plan to be online while you study.
Every day Ganzaa suggests 3–5 short activities based on your grade, recent performance and the gaps it spots in your answers. If you miss a math concept on Tuesday, expect a short practice on that exact concept on Wednesday. The goal is 10–15 focused minutes a day — not hours.
Parents get a dashboard showing each of their children's practice scores, reading history and streaks. You can also message your child's assigned teachers directly through Ganzaa — no phone-number swapping, no WhatsApp groups.
Once your school adds you, your children appear on your parent dashboard automatically. If you signed up independently, open Settings → Family and enter your child's invite code (your teacher can generate one). You can link multiple children to one parent account.
Teachers can assign practices by grade in one click, create group chats with a whole class (or parents-only), publish books to the library, and see exactly which questions students are getting wrong. Admin teachers also get a curriculum + grade manager so you can mirror your school's academic structure.
Yes. From the admin practices page, each card has a Publish / Hide toggle. Hidden practices stay in your admin list (Draft status) but are invisible to students until you flip them back to Published. Useful when you're editing a practice or running it only for one cohort.
Reach out via the Contact page and pick "Schools". We set up your organization, import your grades and curriculum, migrate your student/teacher roster, and train one teacher per grade — at no cost for the first term. A school can go live within two weeks.
Yes for the first term. After that schools choose between a free tier (basic practices + library + chat, capped usage) and a paid tier that unlocks the admin dashboard, analytics, unlimited content publishing and priority support. Students on a paid school never hit paywalls.
Yes. Content your school publishes — books, practices, curriculum — is scoped to your organization and exportable at any time. We never sell student data and never show ads. If you leave Ganzaa, we hand you a full export and delete your data on request.
Never. Ganzaa is completely ad-free. We don't run third-party tracking on student accounts and we don't sell data to anyone.
Chat is org-scoped — students can only message teachers, classmates or parents inside their own school. Strangers cannot contact them. Admins can review and moderate any conversation, and parents can always see who their child is talking to from the family dashboard.
Ganzaa is designed for ages 6 and up. A child's account should be created by, or with the permission of, a parent or guardian. Schools can also create accounts for their own students.
Lessons, past papers, games, the classroom tools and the coding playground are free. A free account saves your progress and opens the library. The first practice exam is free; later ones cost a small fee, and paid Ganzaa Skills courses open with one Mobile Money payment. School pricing is per-student and scales down with volume — see the Plans page or contact us for a quote.
We accept MTN Mobile Money. Schools can also pay by bank transfer against an invoice. We don't take card payments yet.
Any device with a modern browser: Android 8+, iOS 14+, Windows 10+, macOS 11+, and most Chromebooks. The PWA experience is best on phones and tablets.
Click "Sign in" then "Forgot password" and enter your email. We'll send a reset link within a minute. If you signed up through a school invite, ask your teacher or admin to re-send the invite — they can reset accounts from the admin dashboard.
