Listen to a lesson and answer quick checks

Press Listen to hear a lesson read aloud. Answer the Quick check boxes inside a lesson to test yourself as you read.

Listen to a lesson

Step 1: Open a lesson.
Step 2: Press Listen at the top of the lesson. The part being read lights up.
Step 3: Use the bar at the bottom of the screen to go back, pause, or go forward. Press the snail to read more slowly.
Step 4: Tap any paragraph to start reading from there.
Step 5: Press the X on the bar to stop.

Step 1: Find the blue Quick check box in the lesson.
Step 2: Tap the answer you think is right. If there is a gap to fill, type your answer and press Check.
Step 3: If you see Not quite. Try again!, have another go.
Step 4: After two wrong tries, you can press Show me to see the answer.
Step 5: Press Next. After the last question, press Finish.
Step 6: See how many you got right first time. Press Start again to do it once more.
