Practise for the national exam the way it really feels. This paper follows the structure, question types, marks and timing of the NESA Senior 6 (A-Level) Computer Science exam.
These questions simulate the national exam. They are original Ganzaa questions written in the same format as the NESA papers — not the official NESA papers, and not endorsed by NESA. The official papers stay free on our past papers page.
10 versions of every question, so each attempt is a fresh paper with the same structure.
180 minutes, 100 marks, the same sections and question types as the national exam.

A taste of the paper. Every exam you sit has different questions in this style.
Sample 1 · Computer maintenance
Before replacing a faulty RAM module in a desktop computer in the school computer lab, what should the technician do first?
Answer: D. Switch off the computer and unplug it from the power source
Working inside a powered computer can give an electric shock and can damage components. The first step is always to switch off and unplug the computer (and ideally wear an anti-static wrist strap).
Sample 2 · Backup and restore
In computer usage, what does 'restoring' data mean?
Answer: A. Copying data back from a backup to replace lost or damaged files
Restoring is the opposite of backing up: the saved copy is copied back so lost or corrupted data is recovered.
Sample 3 · Multimedia
What is the main purpose of converting a recorded song into MP3 format?
Answer: C. To reduce the file size
MP3 is a compressed audio format: it removes sounds people hardly hear so the file becomes much smaller (with a small loss of quality).
