Ganzaa playground · VS Code
Press VS Code next to Run in the playground and your code opens in VS Code, in a Ganzaa folder on your computer, and runs there. Change it in VS Code, press Save to Ganzaa, and the website has your changes too.
Free, for Windows, Mac and Linux: code.visualstudio.com.
Then in VS Code open the Extensions view, press the ⋯ menu at the top, choose Install from VSIX… and pick the file you downloaded.
This button opens VS Code, and VS Code brings you back to a page here to approve it. (Or, in VS Code, run Ganzaa: Connect your account from the command palette.)
Connect VS CodeIt saves your code to your account and opens it in VS Code. Press ▶ Run at the top of the editor (or Ctrl+Enter, ⌘+Enter on a Mac) to run it again after a change.
In the playground, Ganzaa runs your code for you. In VS Code it runs on your own computer, so the language has to be installed there. HTML, React and JavaScript web pages need nothing extra: they open in a preview inside VS Code. If something is missing, the extension tells you which one and where to get it.
Into a folder called Ganzaa in your home folder (on Windows, C:\Users\<you>\Ganzaa), one folder per project. They are ordinary files: you can copy them, zip them, or open them with anything.
Safety: code you run in VS Code can reach the files on your computer, which the playground's sandbox never allows. The extension only ever opens projects from your own account, but if you copied the code from somebody else's link, read it before you run it.
To disconnect, run Ganzaa: Disconnect in VS Code.
