Host a live quiz game

Create a Kahoot-style quiz, show the PIN and QR code, and run it live while players answer on their phones. Hosting needs a free account.

Anyone with a free Ganzaa account can host a live quiz. Players only need a name.

Create the game

Step 1: Sign in and go to ganzaa.org/live. You can also choose Host live from the wrench.
Step 2: Under Host a game, choose My own quiz.
Step 3: Type a Quiz name, for example "Friday revision".
Step 4: Press Create it and write the questions. You get a game PIN straight away, and the question editor opens.
Step 5: Write your questions, then press Save & Close.

Step 1: Show your screen to the class. It shows Join at with the game link, the Game PIN, and a QR code to Scan to join.
Step 2: Players go to ganzaa.org/live and type the PIN, or scan the QR code. Their names appear on your screen as they join.
Step 3: When everyone is in, press Start Game. It only works once the quiz has at least one question.

Step 1: Each question shows with a countdown and how many players have answered.
Step 2: The answer is shown when time runs out or everyone has answered. To show it early, press Reveal Answer.
Step 3: You see how many got it right and a bar chart of the answers. Press Show Scoreboard.
Step 4: The scoreboard shows the top five players. Press Next Question, or Show Final Results after the last question.
Step 5: The Winners! podium shows the top three. Press Exit to leave.
