How a live quiz works
- Sign in and write your questions: multiple choice, true or false, or a typed answer. Add a picture and a time limit to any question — or pick a lesson and use its questions.
- Start the game and show the screen. Players open ganzaa.org/live and type the PIN, or scan the QR code — they need only a name, no account.
- Everyone answers on their own phone. Correct answers score up to 1,000 points, more the faster they come, and a bar chart shows how the class answered.
- Finish with the leaderboard. Your History keeps every game you ran with each player's score, and Play again reuses the same questions.
What you get
- Your own questions — multiple choice, true/false and typed answers, with pictures and a time limit per question
- Or a game made from any lesson's practice questions
- Players join with a 6-character PIN or a QR code, with just a name and an emoji — no account, no app
- Points for speed and accuracy, a bar chart after every question, and a live leaderboard
- Results kept after the game: every player's score, and Play again with the same questions
- Works on any phone, tablet, laptop, projector or smartboard
Questions
Is it like Kahoot?
Yes — a host shows the questions, everyone answers on their own phone, and the fastest correct answers score highest. It is free and runs in the browser, so nobody installs an app.
Do players need an account?
No. Players type the PIN at ganzaa.org/live (or scan the QR code) and choose a name and an emoji. Only the host needs a free account.
Who can host a game?
Anyone with a free Ganzaa account — a teacher with a class, or a student running a quiz for a study group.
Can I see the results afterwards?
Yes. Your History lists every game you ran; open one to see each player's score, and press Play again to run the same questions with a new group.
What kinds of questions can I write?
Multiple choice, true or false, and short typed answers (checked leniently, so capital letters and extra spaces don't matter). Any question can have a picture and its own time limit.
