Let's begin
In netball, you may not run with the ball.
So Umutoni passes it to Keza. Keza passes it to Uwase.
The ball flies from friend to friend. Let's learn to pass!
Grown-up: read this aloud. Show each move first. Then do it together.
You need: one soft ball for each group of four.
Stand in a circle. The ball is a hot potato! Pass it quickly to the next friend.
Don't hold it for long. Ouch, it's hot!
Stand in a circle. Say a friend's name, then pass the ball to them.
Everyone gets the ball once before anyone gets it twice. Then sit down and cheer!
Make a square with four friends. Pass the ball around the square.
Count together: one, two, three... Can your team make ten passes with no drops?
Reach your arms up high. Then give yourself a big hug. Breathe slowly.
Warning
Safety first! Say your friend's name before you pass, so they are ready to catch.
Tip
Name, step, push!
Say the name. Step towards your friend. Push the ball out.
Do each one, then tap Show answer to check.
