Keeping Clean
Lesson 4 of 4
12 min
Let's begin
It is early morning at Mutesi's home.
Her father takes the broom. Her brother takes the dustbin.
Mutesi waits, because she thinks cleaning is not her work.
Today you will learn that everybody cleans, at home and at school.
Every day the home needs a little care.
Careful! Cleaning is not a punishment. It is not only for girls, and not only for mama. A father can sweep. A boy can mop.
Mutesi looked at the dust by the door.
She took the small broom and swept her own corner.
The work finished fast because three people did it.

Cleaning Day, an REB animation about cleaning together.
Tip
Everybody cleans. Nobody waits
Look around you and pick up one thing that is out of place.
If you are waiting for somebody else to do it, you have slipped.
