Le corps humain
Lesson 2 of 4
35 min
Close your eyes. What can you hear? Now open them and touch your desk. How does it feel?
Every part of your body has a job to do. Today you will say in French what each part helps you do.

To say what you use, put avec (with) before the body part:
Be careful: sentir is for the nose (to smell), and entendre is for the ears (to hear). They sound a little alike, so don't mix them up!
Tip
Count the senses on one hand. Thumb: voir (eyes). Pointing finger: entendre (ears). Middle finger: sentir (nose). Ring finger: goûter (tongue). Little finger: toucher (hands). Five fingers, five senses!
